Burberry Brit Rhythm

Good day! Savā pastkastē šodien cerēju ieraudzīt ko citu, taču pa priekšu pasteidzās jaunās Burberry Brit smaržas - bezmaksas paraudziņi beidzot sasnieguši mani!

Kas tad tur, parasti paraudziņi, bet šoreiz gribējās atrādīt, jo šādu pieeju iepriekš nebiju redzējusi.

Today I hoped to receive something else in my mailbox, but there it was - the new Burberry Brit Rhythm perfume samples. What's there to talk about, they are samples after all, but this time it was something different from what I had seen before and wanted to show it.

Plānajā iepakojumā bija kartiņa un 3 paraudziņi, skaists iepakojums. :) 

In the thin packaging, which, by the way, was really nice, were 3 samples and a card.

Parauga aizmugurē rakstīts, ka tas ir pagaidu tetovējums.. Neesot ar īpaši gaišu prātu rīta agrumā, nodomāju, ka smaržu pleķītis domāts kā tetovējums, caurspīdīgs, ilgnoturīgi smaržīgs.

On the back of the sample card there's written instructions for applying the temporary tattoo.. Since I am not gifted with the brightest head in the morning, I just thought that they were talking about the clear spot of the perfume sample..

Noņēmu cieto plēvi, uzliku uz rokas... 

So, I take off the plastic paper, put the card on my hand (thank god not on the neck)...

Izrādās, ka pudelītes siluets patiesībā tiešām ir pagaidu tetovējums. Acīmredzot, ne tas kvalitatīvākais un labākais. Savas kļūdas dēļ paberzēju kartīti uz rokas, pirms apskatot, kas tur notiek. Rezultātā tāds melns pleķis arī palika!

It turns out that the silhouette of the little bottle actually is a temporary tattoo! Not the best one and lacks a lot of quality, but, it's what they wrote about. I didn't check my hand after rubbing the card on it, so I was left with a nice spot of black stuff.

Man ļoti patīk šī ideja, mārketings darbojas fantastiski, bet reti kuram patīk daļēji pabeigtas un paviršas idejas, vai ne? Tetovējums smērējas arī pēc nožūšanas UN aktīvi smērē drēbes! 

Par pašām smaržām varu vien teikt to, ka asociējas ar tādām, kuras lietotu skaistā ballē, priekš ikdienas noteikti nav mans smaržu tonis. Uz pašas kartītes nevar sajust smaržu īsto aromātu, blakus spēcīgi laužas ārā līmes smaka. Pēc tetovējuma rūpīgas kopēšanas uz ādas, var labi sasmaržot to patieso ritmu. :) 

I really love the idea and the marketing definitely works, but no one really likes half-assed ideas and job not well done, right? Tattoo goes all over the place even after drying and makes the clothes dirty! Be warned.

When it comes to the perfume itself, all I can say is, it associates with something that I would spray at a black tie event, but for everyday use it is totally not my tone of perfume. It's impossible to smell the actual scent on the card, because the glue smell sticks out, but, once the tattoo has been applied to the skin, the real perfume notes come out! 

P.S. It does not wash off as easily as it smeared out all over the place...
