AVON purchase of April 2014 (5th catalogue) + first impressions

 

Ayo! Piemetoties klāt savam sūtījumam, paņēmu pāris lietiņas, kuras patestēt. Šeit neliels atskats, ko iegādājos.

Ordered some things to test out, here is a little look back at what I got. 

 

Kopumā 5 lietas! / 5 things in total

Neesmu vienīgā savā mājā, kurai patīk krāsoties un lakot savus nagus, meklējām toni, kas bija attēlots katalogā, taču diemžēl notrāpījām uz neīsto un pasūtījām ķiršu sarkanu un manis kāroto citronu. Par sarkano man nav dižu komentāru, jo tas ir bijis manā nagu laku kolekcijā arī iepriekš vien zem cita nosaukuma, taču dzeltenais šķiet ļoti skaists matēts tonis ar pietiekamu pigmentu daudzumu.

I am not the only one in my house who loves using makeup and painting her nails! We tried to find the tone a model had in the catalogue, but instead we got the red one. Lemon nail polish was my initiative and so far it looks like a well pigmented matte tone. No comments for the classic red one, because I have had it in my nail polish collection previously, maybe under a different name.

 Glimmerstick zīmulis tirkīzi zaļā tonī. Līnija velkas perfekti, swatchā tonis ir fantastisks un, kad izžūst, saglabā savu novietojumu un nesmērējas! Nevaru sagaidīt, kad varēšu izmantot meikapā.

Glimmerstick pencil in a turquoise green tone. So far I love it! The color on a swatch is fantastic and when it dries, it stays in it's place and does not smear. + the line draws smoothly.

 Šeit gan laikam ne tas labākais iespaids, taču nu ir skaidrs, kā izvēlēties pareizo gaišo toni katalogā. Šis ir tonis Fair, kurš ir ar orandžīgiem pigmentiem un šo es ieteiktu cilvēkiem, kuri nav pārāk brūni, bet apmeklē solāriju. Kaut gan izsmērējot uz rokas tonis nav tik instensīvs, toņa attēlojums katalogā nav tik tumšs. Lai izvēlētos pareizo gaišo toni no kataloga, kas ir aptuveni manā ādas tonī, iesaku izvēlēties Light piedāvājumu, kurš līdz šim ir bijis tiešām gaišs.

Not the best first impression, mostly because of the concealer's tone, which is not correct in the catalogue as well. If you want to find something for as light skin as mine, I suggest choosing the options with Light description, this one if Fair and I would use this for people who are not too brown, but like to tan in a salon. 

Šeit arī pārāk daudz nav ko sacīt, vien to, ka šķita, ka atnāks mazāks tilpums! Sprejam ir neliels aromāts, kas man atgādina kādreiz bērnībā dzerto sīrupu pret temperatūru, nedaudz sintētisks, taču noteikti ne uzbāzīgs. Uz rokas sprejs kļūst nedaudz lipīgs, atgādina matu laku, neko vairāk gan šobrīd teikt nespēju.

Nothing much to say about this product right now. I thought it would be in a smaller package, so that is a plus. The spray has a little bit of a aroma which reminds me of medicine I took as a kid for temperature. Other than that the spray feels a little sticky once sprayed on hand like hair spray.

Closet Confidential TAG

Good day, ladies! Šim rakstam bija jābūt publicētam vakar, taču blogger un google dēļ nebija iespējams rakstīt caur planšetdatoru. Mans stacionārais dators ir atgriezies, tehniskās problēmas beigušās un beidzot varu publicēt šo... :) Tālāk atzīmēju Signi, Artu un Fašionisti! 

This blog post was supposed to be published yesterday, but, thanks to google services and bloggers itself, it was impossible to finish on my tablet. Now all my technical difficulties have ended and I have my pc back, so here goes this one. :) 

Šis pasakaini jaukais un mīļais džemperis manā skapī ir kopš pamatskolas laikiem. Lai gan to praktiski izmantoju tikai mājai, es nespēju no tā šķirties, vienalga, cik daudzi man teiktu, ka ir laiks to izņemt no sava skapja apgrozījuma! 

This oldy has been in my closet since I was in 8th grade! I completely love it and even though I only wear it at home, it is a nice winter jumper that I think I will never give up on, no matter how many people say that I should finally get rid of it. 

Mans pats, pats jaunākais džemperītis, kurš manā īpašumā ir vien otro dienu. Tā kā mana pāreja no džinsiem uz legingiem un biksēm ieilgst, esmu tādu augšdaļu meklējumos, kas vajadzības pēc var piesegt aizmuguri. :) Kaching, viens jau ir!

My newest top that is not even 3 days old. Since my transition from jeans to leggings and trousers is extremely long, I am looking for tops that, when in need, can cover my back a little. :) At least I have one now.. 

Savā skapī pieskaitu arī somas un kurpes, jo tās turpat vien mētājas apkārt.. :) Kurpes, kuras ir pārdzīvojušas pietiekami daudz oficiālu pasākumu un vēl aizvien izskatās lieliski uz manām kājām! Nav deformējušies paši papēži, tās aizvien ir stabilas. Cena šīm kurpēm bija 40ls, bet ne reizi neesmu nožēlojusi!

I count my shoes and bags as a part of my closet as well, so here is my most expensive purchase! These shoes are still looking their best and have been worn through enough official parties. The heel is still perfect, no complaints. The most expensive item, but totally worth it.

43 centi. Vai man jāsaka kas vairāk? Perfektas kvalitātes blūzīte, kas man, protams, ir nedaudz par lielu, bet izskatās lieliski! Iegādājos darba vajadzībām, bet, pateicoties tā burbuļa plīšanai, tagad manā skapī ir par vienu sievišķīgu un skaistu apģērbu vairāk.

43 euro cents. Need I say more? Perfect quality thrifted blouse that is too large on me, but it looks fantastic on me with the whole oversized look! I bought it for my job, but that whole thing ended faster than started and thanks to that I now have one more beautiful piece of clothing in my closet.

Šo somu es dabūju par aptuveni 5 eiro CENTRO veikalā vēl decembra mēnesī, kad devos uz turieni lielās akcijas laikā, kad 3 preces saņem attiecīgas atlaides. Man šķiet, ka pilnā cena šai somai bija aptuveni 20 eiro, es varbūt kļūdos!

This bag I got for approximately 5 euros back in December! It's full price, if I am not mistaken but I might be, was around 20 euros. 

Uh.. pēdējā reize, kad pirku sev džinsus. Es nezinu, kādēļ es nopirku šos, bet krāsojums, balinājums un viss pārējais šajos džinsos nav atbilstošs man un manai figūrai. Lai gan tie bija tikai 10 eiro tajā laikā un diži par cenu nepārdzīvoju, es šos džinsus nenēsāju un labāk dodos treniņbiksēs kaut kur kā šajā apģērba gabalā.

The last time I bought myself some jeans. I do not know WHY I bought these ones, since the color and bleached spots and the jeans itself do not match me nor compliment my body. They were only 10 euros which is really cheap for a pair of jeans, but it was a total waste of money. I do not wear them and I would rather choose to go outside in sweatpants than this piece of clothing. 

Bonusā vēl ir jāpastāsta par saviem 3 šī brīža mīļākajiem apģērbiem, bet man tādu nav! Es ļoti pieķeros visam jaunajam, ko iegādājos, taču cenšos to labot. Favorītos man joprojām paliek legingi, kokvilnas staipīgās bikses un kāds oversized džemperis, taču tas nav nekas tāds, ko es konstanti nēsātu katru otro dienu, lai atrādītu! Es ceru, ka Jums patika šis raksts un manis atzīmētie rakstītāji arī pacentīsies. ;) 

The Bonus question was to show current 3 favourite clothing pieces, but I simply do not have them. I hold on to pieces that are newly bought and wear them as much as possible, but the top things that will always stay my favourites are leggings, stretchy trousers and an oversized jumper, but it is nothing that I think is worth showing off nor do I wear them constantly. I hope you enjoyed this tag and that people I tagged will hurry to write this tag as well.
